Here are some photo's of the major overhaul to get the car up to a reasonably competitive spec, the final assembly of the engine & rebuild of the gearbox was achieved with a very late Friday / Saturday morning & by Saturday evening it was almost ready for the AMOC Donington race 2008 on the Sunday.
This required the bonnet removing & entire front bulkhead stripping of all its parts, the bulkhead to body frame replacing, the holes that had been drilled in the previous 50+ years welding up & the bulkhead & chassis painting, the front suspension overhauling & painting, a new wiring loom being fitted, a dashboard retrim & reopaint, etc.
The upgrade included the brake overhaul (using only slightly upgrade material), new hubs front & rear & plumbed in FIA legal fire extinguisher that took place so that it could run at the Silverstone Classic in 2007.
